I've managed to get way behind!

Ok - sorry to Mom and Tracy, because I know they really enjoy looking at pictures of the kids. I don't know why I got so behind, but I haven't updated since May. I've finally gone through all of my recent pics and narrowed it down (waaaaayyyy down - I take LOTS of pics!) to these next posts. It's probably still too many, but it's a quick view into our summer. After looking back at the previous posts, I've realized how much the kids can change in three months - especially Gracie. In the last posts, she still didn't have much hair, but it has really grown over the summer. Here's a couple pics I took last week:
He looks so grown up. :(

And here is something I've been planning on sharing for awhile now. I started making a scrapbook of Gracie's NICU stay sometime last year. I would make a page here and there. I really took my time with it, which was actually a good thing, because it gave the website I was using time to evolve. It was fairly new when I started, and as time went on, it got better and better page kits to use. I even went back and updated some pages that I didn't really care for with some of the newer digital pages and embellishments that they put out. I finally finished it a couple of months ago, but was having some problems publishing it (I think they were having technical issues at the website). Anyway - it's finally finished and I will eventually be able to print it into a book directly from their site. Kim - this would be the perfect site for you to try your hand at digital scrapbooking. It's very user friendly, has lots of different themes, and completely free (for now!). So if you want to check it out, here it is:

If it's not big enough to see well, you can go to www.scrapblog.com/kris10dale
and turn up your volume - it has pretty piano music playing! :)

Gracie is two!

I can't believe it, but the baby is two years old. My, how time flies. She has taken to her new role as a two year old quite well, and I have recently started calling her Miss Crabapple - lol. Of course, the four canine teeth that she has been cutting all at once may have something to do with her crankiness! She had a nice little birthday party at the house with all four of her grandparents, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Kevin, Daddy, Fisher and me. I tried to do a little photo shoot of her dressed up in a pretty little outfit (without a bow - she won't let me put her hair up!), and I managed to get a few shots off - with the help of some Yogos to keep her sitting!

See how I've grown!

Yogos to the rescue!

Gracie getting ready for her party. I swear, she threw a fit to vaccuum - how could I deny the birthday girl? :)

Is that Nanny in the playhouse? :)

Miscellaneous

I already have a post with miscellaneous pics further down, but I had to make another one since I downloaded my camera again a few days ago. I've been working on these posts sporadically for two weeks. :)

Who knew a duck blanky could be a superman cape?!!

I found a couple of monkeys in the toy box.

Soaked from playing in a downpour. Trying to catch the rain on their tongues!

Checking for monkey mail!
He decided the roof needed to be fixed - notice the hammer in his hand.

Beaver's Bend

A couple of weekends ago, we decided to take the kids up to Beaver's Bend for the day. It was a great way to beat the 105 degree heat - the water was awesomely chilly! We took the train ride, and were lucky enough to see 4 baby deer. We also took a quick paddle boat ride. I say quick because it's hard enough to pedal those things, but it's even harder when a 2 year old wants to "help". It was a fun day though, and the kids were snoozing before we even got out of the park.

Blurry pic of the deer.

Pool Fun

Just some various pics from the summer playing in the kiddie pool. Who knew a 5 foot pool could be this much fun??!!

Aunt Kerry is so much fun! :)
Aunt Kerry taught them to just sit back and relax.........

What a face!
Pretty blue eyed boy.

Peek-a-boo!
