These are for you, Connie!

Connie has the most beautiful garden and fish pond. Kevin and I simultaneously called it an oasis while we were sitting out by it. It is just so peaceful and soothing. She has put so much work into it, and it shows! It was the perfect place to snap some pics of something other than my children! lol I've been doing that a lot lately - taking pictures of the squirrels and the birds - just like I used to do before the little ones came along. Hope you like these pics of your beautiful flowers, Connie!

Cookout at Connie's & Dean's house

Connie and Dean invited all of the family down for a cookout a couple of weeks ago. It was a great day of visiting, lots of great food, and swimming for the kids! It was Gracie's first time in a pool, and she really took to it the first time she got in. Kaley tried to take her in again later, and as the picture shows, she wasn't too keen on getting back in the cold water! After Fisher got used to it, he was loving it. Kaley was awesome with him in the pool, getting him to kick his feet and blow bubbles in the water! He even managed to doggy paddle to the steps by himself when he fell off of his float. Thanks, Connie and Dean, for a really fun day!

Dean, the grilling machine!

What would Kaley do without her cell phone?? lol

Fourth of July

Well, I guess I will have to accept the fact that I just can't get the pictures that I want to get. You know, the pictures with two smiling kids looking right at the camera, perfectly posed. This is as good as it gets these days! Fisher just did not want to look at the camera (you'd think he would be used to it by now!). He had to be bribed with some cherry tomatoes from Nanny to even look towards me! (then proceeded to shove both of them in his mouth at once - haha)

Fisher is quite the helper with the sprinkling of the cupcakes!

Father's Day

Here are some pics of our Father's Day from last month! Fisher was not really in the mood for pictures, so Gracie got to take some by herself with Daddy.

Fisher is very proud of his t-shirt with Pappy's tractor on it.

Like grandfather, like grandson! They have the exact same look on their faces. I think it means - are you done taking pictures yet?? haha

Miscellaneous Pics

For some reason, she loves this little red "suitcase" from Fisher's toy airport. She manages to find it every time she crawls into Fisher's room.

"Helping" Daddy put the tool chest together!

Loves his popcorn, just like cousin Branden!
It's really cool that Uncle Kevin is here - but this moving truck is even cooler! :)
She may have the spoon in her hand, but she wasn't feeding herself the blueberries. She just managed to smear what I fed her all over her face! The blueberries were not a big hit, obviously!
Does this boy look like he's only two???

Yum - teething biscuits!
