Our Vacation - The Beach and the Shuttle Launch

On our first day of our vacation, we headed down to Cocoa beach for the day. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and the water, and then we headed out to find a spot to watch the Space Shuttle launch! It was an awesome experience, and I'm so glad that Clint suggested we do it. Hopefully Fisher will always remember seeing the rocket ship blast into space!

He was waving at the seagulls. :)

After happening upon a little mom & pop type of restaurant (that had delicious seafood!), we found the perfect little park to watch the launch. I'm sure people had been camped out all afternoon, but we still had a great view coming up about 45 min or so 'til countdown.

It started out looking like a sunrise.

I think it was about this high when the awesome rumble hit us. It was so amazing.

Magic Kingdom

We went to the Magic Kingdom on Monday, Tuesday, and for a couple of hours on Friday after going to Epcot. It was so nice to hop over that evening to end our vacation with the kids' favorite rides. The last ride we rode was "It's a Small World", which was Gracie's favorite. She pointed to all the dolls and animals and got so excited. So cool that she loved such a classic ride. Fisher's favorites were the Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin and the Barnstormer roller coaster. He DID NOT enjoy Space Mountain as I thought he would. No tears, but he definitely did not want to ride it again. He said he's going to have to be bigger before he rides it again - lol.

Bright eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to start our day!
Riding the ferry across the lake.

A trip down Main Street USA!

Fisher's favorite ride - it was a pretty cool one!

Love this shot! Thanks to cousin Tricia!

That was quite a ride with Gracie actually doing the steering. Since it's on a rail type track, we kept slamming from side to side. :)
A talking, interactive trash can. This was SO up Fisher's alley!

This was her smile on It's A Small World!

Tricia happened to be in Orlando for her daughter's softball trip. She had Monday free, so she met up with us for at the park. Very cool since I've only seen her maybe twice since I was four years old!
Clint told Fisher not to tell anyone that they rode in a pink teacup - lol.

During the Monsters Inc audience interactive show, they flashed Gracie's picture up on the screen, and she "played" the part of the little girl, Boo.
Notice any similarities?? :)

The end of a very fun, but very looooonnnnngggg day.
Ahh - all refreshed and ready to do it again!

Snow White's Scary Adventure held true to it's name for Gracie! Too funny - her hand stayed on her mouth throughout the ride, but that was the extent of it.
Look who finally got a gun, and a pirate gun at that!

I thought this was a cool shot that Kerry got of the light parade.

I love this shot. The force of the ride kept me from getting both of them in the frame, but it reminds me of another picture of Kerry on a roller coaster a long time ago. I'm pretty sure she wasn't smiling on the other one!

Hi little girl, wanna give Minnie a hug??
NO WAY! Where's my Mommy????

The woman with the streamers ran over to Gracie and another little girl next to her and wrapped her streamers around them, saying "Here you are, Princesses!" Too cute.

Love this pic!
