Face Painting

Linzi has really gotten into face painting recently, and I thought it would be fun to try. Lolo surprised me with my own set for my birthday! The butterfly was my first attempt, and when Fisher got home from school, I painted his shark. Gracie asks me all the time to paint her face, but as I learned after Halloween, Fisher is allergic to the face paint! He had one small red mark that looked like a carpet burn under his eye when I washed off the shark. I kind of wondered about it, but he was having itchy eyes at that time from allergies, so I chalked it up to that. Well, after his Fall Festival at school, I washed the flames off of his face that I had painted, and he had two red marks - one under each eye. I guess he won't be able to enjoy Mommy's new hobby. :(

My little schoolboy

Here are some pics from Fisher's first day of school. He was so excited to go. He's such a people person, so he couldn't wait to get there. He's still loving it, although I have had one "I don't want to go to school". What a big kid he's getting to be. :(

Walking right in three steps ahead of me - eager to start his first day!

Hugs goodbye. Nobody cried - I bit my tongue - lol.

His teacher, Miss Jennifer.

Not the first day, but I thought he looked cute with his lunch box and new haircut.

Misc Photos

Love these lashes......

Fisher never has been much for coloring or drawing, so I was excited when he drew a picture of Daddy a couple months ago. His first drawing, and it was on a chalkboard - I had to take a picture since I couldn't save it! Within three weeks, Gracie started drawing pictures with lots of little details - maybe she'll be an artist when she grows up!! :)

Aren't you supposed to catch crickets while dressed in a tutu? :)

Not sure of his cricket catching method he's got going on here.

I love this one!

The sky was so orange that day - it was so beautiful.

Digging his "drainages". This is what he loves to do. Out of all his toys, the beans (really lentils) are his favorite.

Such concentration.

They had been on a "wedding" kick. That's Fisher's bumper pad from his crib - it's the aisle. So cute to watch - Gracie giggled when I performed the ceremony. :)

She matched all the letter magnets to the alphabet map all by herself!

He called this his cement tower - that's where the cement trucks pick up their cement. :)

Three Years Old

Three years ago, on 7-29-06 at 10:39pm, this little girl surprised us when she entered the world so early. That little 3 pound bundle of joy is now a 31 pound bundle of pure girliness. She likes flowers, and dresses, kitties, and princesses, but usually gets more dirt on her face than her big brother. Tonight she told me she didn't want to grow up, she wanted to stay a baby. I
told her she would always be Mommy's baby. Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl.

If Gracie had her way, we would all dress like this. :)

Gracie's Luau Party

Gracie had a luau themed "swim" party this year. We set up the water slide, a sprinkler, the little kiddie pool, a water table, and let the kids have at it. They had a blast. With three girls and three boys, it was the perfect size party.

Fisher insisted that we needed tickets for our guests to get into the water park. I think the excitement got to him though, and he only handed out about half - lol.

I made her a pretty little flower clip for her hair, and she wouldn't wear it. You never know with that girl. At least she wore it for me to snap a couple of pics.

I think the kid count was 5 in that little house!

Let's LIMBO!! The kids really had fun with this. Who knew a cane pole could entertain for so long? :) Riley was really good at it. It was so cute when he was nearly bent over backwards trying to go under, and Chloe walked right under not even needing to duck!

Nanny brought her flowers for her birthday, because last week Gracie said "flowers make me happy". :) In the background, you can see Fisher ogling what makes him happy - tractors. lol

She was so proud when we started singing for her!

"Riding" the dolphin down the slide - so funny!
