Misc. Photos

How she can go from being a ballerina princess to being this dirty, I do not know.

The little Mommy all ready to go!

I'm raising a couple of Rock Stars, you know.

The naked chef - lol.

Spiked!

This one cracks me up. He had seen the movie "E.T." the day before, and was playing "scientist". Remember when E.T. and Eliot are quarantined, and they use the tube to get them from the van (or something - I didn't really pay attention). Anyway, that's what he recreated here. Funny stuff.

Rain, Rain, Rain

The beginning of May brought rain, rain, and then more rain. It flooded over our pond's dam, and made our sometimes trickling creek a rushing river (to the kids anyway - :) We couldn't resist playing in the "rapids", and after the second big rain, we took a walk through our woods to see the cool little waterfalls.

What a ham.

She's in flower bliss!

Gracie's First Haircut

In mid-May, Gracie got her first haircut! We started the day with some pre-haircut pictures. Then, we dropped Fisher off with Nanny, since I was getting my hair cut also. While at Nanny's, we saw a baby bird on her porch that was leaving the nest. The kids got to hold it for a minute (and then we scrubbed the mites off their hands - yuck!). Gracie did a great job sitting still for her haircut, and afterwards, we met Lolo at the park for a little bit. A fun girls day out!

No more babies in our house!

Gracie made the move from the crib to the "big girl bed" at the end of April. It was kind of sad to take apart the crib and move it upstairs, but fun to set up her toddler bed. I'm glad we went with the toddler bed for her, because I've found her on the floor in the middle of the night several times since moving into it. Fisher was so big, he went from crib to twin bed, but I think Gracie will be able to use her little bed for a few years.
