A hard day of work.......

Fisher has pretty much quit taking naps, but still needs them, as you can see. I was inside feeding Gracie when I realized I didn't hear him playing outside. I went out to check on him and found him fast asleep on his tractor. I guess he just "worked" too hard that day.

Gracie's new hat

Amy crocheted this adorable hat for Gracie! Luckily, a cold front came through a couple of days after we got it, or Gracie would have been posing in it in 70 degree temperatures - haha. She'll look so cute toddling around in it next fall with those pom-poms swinging! Lolo taught Amy how to crochet, and she really did a great job on this hat - design and all. Thanks "Auntie" Amy!

Mommy and her babies

I am always behind the camera, so I have to try to make an effort to get in some of the pics with the kids. After dragging the tripod, camera, baby seat, piano stool and the kids outside, I managed to get a few decent shots.

Fisher and Raegan

I finally downloaded these cute pics off of Mom's camera. I think they were taken around Christmas. Don't Raegan and Fisher make a cute couple? Mom said these pictures will look cute on their wedding table. I say we better stop saying things like that or they'll end up hating each other! But I'll hold onto these pics just in case........

What's new with the girl.......

I started Gracie on rice cereal a couple of weeks ago. She looks happy enough in the picture, but after a couple of days, she really didn't like it anymore. I stopped giving it to her for a week or so and just started back a couple of days ago. She's doing a little better, but still not thrilled with it. As you can see from the picture, she has started rolling over! She started rolling from her tummy to her back in early December, and started rolling from her back
to her tummy at the beginning of the week. I missed the first time. I had put her on a blanket with some toys, and was back in Fisher's room with him building with his train tracks when I heard her fussing. I came out and she was on her tummy - I thought "I don't remember putting her down like that" then realized that she had done it herself. Now she is rolling all around, pushing herself around in a circle with her feet. Next steps will be sitting and crawling - then I'll have 2 to chase around all day!

What's new with the boy.....

I started going over the colors with Fisher last week when he had his crayons out. I would pick one up and tell him the color and ask him to say it back to me. He was pretty good at saying them all. He had an ABC book out earlier in the week that had a picture of an orange on the cover. I pointed at it and told him that it was an orange and that the color of it was also orange. A couple days later he was pointing to an apple and an orange on the counter and saying "uh, uh" like he will when he wants something. I told him to tell me what he wanted and not to say "uh". He thought really hard and then said "yewwow"(yellow). He knew that he wanted the orange, just couldn't remember the color - haha. Thought that was kind of funny. He also pointed to three different colors of play-doh yesterday and got all three colors right. I was proud!

Valentine's Day pics

Here are a couple of pics of the kids on Valentine's day. Gracie looks really interested in Fisher's buy-ya-yas (his word for airplane).
